Halloween Look: Sugar Crush Skull

Hiiii guys! So halloween is around the corner! I’m not one for horror movies but I do LOVE halloween. Ever since I was little, I loved everything about Halloween and I can attribute that to Halloween Town, if you didn’t see that movie, WHERE WAS YOUR CHILDHOOD?!

I always loved going costume shopping although I never really went trick or treating…

I was a weird one. I remember I had these 2 masks that I made my daddy buy for me, one was an alien and the other was a skull and they both had this thing to press and blood would flow down the face. Talk about GORE!

My excitement for Halloween resurfaced when I started seeing everyone on YouTube posting their Halloween tutorials. Desi Perkins is killing the game right now.

I’m no Desi and I have zero talent with painting and such but I decided to give it a go. This is my first attempt at something like this. It’s not perfect but I recorded it anyway. Hope you guys have as much fun watching as I did creating this look.

I didn’t know what to call my master piece but I decided to call it ‘Sugar Crush Skull’. I really wanted to do a drip effect to get that candy feel and the glittery, colorful skull to make it fun and to POP!

I love anything candy like, I mean my 18th birthday party theme was ‘Candyland’. Anything that looks like a unicorn shit on it, I love it. What better to do than a drippy ice cream and colourful skull?

The products I used were products I already owned so there’s no need to go spending money willy nilly. I’m sure you guys can put together a look with the products you already have as well!

List of products used:

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette
  • Urban Decay Vice Lip Palette
  • Urban Decay Electric Palette
  • Coastal Scents 252 Ultimate Eyeshadow Palete
  • Smashbox Shape Matters Palette
  • bh Cosmetics 120 Eyeshadow Palette 5th edition
  • Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner
  • Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow – Diamond Dust
  • Duo Lash Glue
  • Coloured Sprinkles (yes, real sprinkles)

I caught my royal ass with the filming and editing of this video, of course, every single thing I owned decided to malfunction. I was literally about to throw everything out my window, I kid you not! I somehow eventually managed to figure it out after days, not hours of persistence. I know it isn’t perfect but we’re getting there!
